BARIUM SULFATE

These API Barite products are manufactured from a high quality natural barium sulfate ore.  BASCO WATE is an exactly ground used to increase the density of both oil and water-based drilling fluids.  BASCO WATE is a chemically inert powder, light tan to gray in color which meets or exceeds the American Petroleum Institute's drilling fluid specification 13A for barite.

MICROWATE 10, 20 AND 40 are processed from select deposits of naturally occurring blends of strontium and barium sulfates.  They are closely graded to ensure consistent chemistry and color.
